DEPARTMENT: Administration



Responsible for staffing and coordinating reception desk functions for COAH: answering phones, directing guests, sorting mail, ordering, organizing, and maintaining office supplies, answering questions from guests & connecting them to the appropriate staff member or tenant. Coordinates tenant mail, visitors, and rentals of office areas. Coordinates volunteers for all departments at COAH. This involves recruiting, screening, coordinating, and communicating with volunteers.  Serves as point of contact in receiving and processing in-kind donations. Responsible for providing administrative support and/or project coordination for operational and administrative staff.


  • Front desk reception and general clerical tasks
  • Recruitment, coordination, and connection of individual volunteers into ministry roles
  • Coordinates a variety of administrative functions that help with the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization
  • Serves in various ministry roles as needed.

  • Associate Degree or equivalent preferred
  • 3-5 years office experience
  • Experience in nonprofit, social service or ministry organization
  • Cross-cultural experience necessary
  • Mail Coordination Experience
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to function effectively in an environment requiring multi-tasking.
  • Ability to perform responsibilities in a self-directed environment.
  • Growing relationship with Christ with evidence of spiritual maturity through integrity, humility, self-control, an active prayer life, and dependence.
  • Is active/involved in a local church.


  • Operates equipment necessary to perform a job.
  • Stands, walks, reaches above the shoulder, squats, bends, twists, kneels, and climbs throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to lift, push, and carry various items up to 20 lbs.
