Children and Family Program Coordinator

HOURS PER WEEK: Full-Time

Position Purpose

Responsible for coordinating Children’s Ministry programs and Family Engagement Events. Provides a safe, professional, and respectful environment for children, youth, volunteers and visiting guests that promotes the values of the organization. Coordinates data reporting and collection, communicates current program options through mailings, flyers, and outdoor signage. Works to strengthen families by providing home visit support and parent communication. Assists with the development of art programs offered to youth ages 6-19.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Must be 21 years old with at least 2 years youth development or discipleship experience.
  • Experience in nonprofit, social service or para-church organizations or churches.
  • Must have a valid Wisconsin drivers license, clean driving record, able and willing to drive organization vehicles.
  • Cross-cultural experience
  • Basic knowledge of Trauma Informed Care and working with youth with Adverse Childhood Experiences (A.C.E.s)
  • Growing relationship with Christ and involvement in a local church. Evidence of spiritual maturity through integrity, humility, self-control, active prayer life and dependence on the Lord.
