HOURS: Summer internship 10 weeks (Late May-Mid August)
POSITION PURPOSE:
Our Summer Internship Program seeks to provide young leaders with hands-on ministry and leadership experience, leadership training, and personal, character and spiritual development. There is no question that our internships are a stretching experience that challenges participants to step outside of their comfort zones. Still, we believe that is where true growth and development happens.
INTERSHIP TRACKS:
- YOUTH – Works in Youth Center with Program Staff to provide summer programs for youth. Assists with Super Saturday Children’s outreach events. Travels with and leads youth at various field trips/summer camps
- MINISTRY – Helps with the monthly free Health Clinic. Assists Program Staff with the planning of various ministry programs.
- MISSIONS – Helps lead summer missions and urban plunge trips. Oversee various volunteer projects.
- MARKETING – Photography for summer program. Help with fundraising events, social media and graphic design
SKILLS TO BE DEVELOPED:
- Work with diverse people with diverse backgrounds
- Learn behind the scenes operations of non-profit

QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to live-on campus
- Willingness to learn
- Excited to impact the lives of others
- Exhibits servant leadership
- Desire to develop leadership skills
- Growing relationship with Christ
- Passion for the mission of City on a Hill
- Represent Christ and the Church in an honorable manner
- Ability to keep confidentiality
- Committed to honesty, integrity, and humility
- Has organizational skills
