Health Outreach Visits
Healthcare & Social Services
City on a Hill provides a safety net to thousands each year.
Health Education Modules
City on a Hill provides a safety net to thousands each year, providing holisic services to meet the medical, nutritional, social, emotional and spiritual needs of uninsured and medically underserved residents of the central city. We do so in an environment that ensures compassionate, non-judgemental healthcare through a large and diverse team of volunteer physicians, nurses, social workers, health professionals and many non-medical volunteers.
We currently provide behavioral health Tele-Therapy sessions through a wonderful partnership with Nurse Disrupted & Anesis Therapy based in Madison, WI. It’s very common, especially post-COVID-19 to experience feelings of depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma. Tele-therapy sessions offer support to battle some of these burdens, alleviate stress, and overcome common barriers so that people can live more fulfilled life.
Tele-Therapy sessions are Monday 10:30am – 12:30pm and Tuesdays 10am – 2pm.
MONTHLY HEALTH OUTREACH
Our monthly neighborhood health outreach provides holistic services to meet the medical, nutritional, social, emotional and spiritual needs of uninsured, medically underserved, and homeless residents of the central city. Guests also enjoy a hot meal, have opportunities to socialize, and find a place to belong. Mark your calendar for the second Saturday of every month: 12 pm – 2:00 pm.
