POSITION PURPOSE:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced After-school Program Coordinator to coordinate our comprehensive after-school program. The successful candidate will coordinate three key components: the literacy program, healthy choices program, and transportation program. This role requires effective coordination, leadership, and a passion for supporting the educational and holistic development of children and adolescents ages 6-18.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Must live with in Milwaukee City limits.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years old with at least 1 year of youth development or discipleship experience.
- Must have excellent attendance, available Monday- Thursday, and some weekends.
- Must possess a driver’s license and be able and willing to drive City on a Hill vehicles.
- Experience in nonprofit, social service or para-church organizations, or churches.
- Cross-cultural experience necessary.
- Must be proficient with computers, Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and other basic office equipment and software.
- Strong organizational skills, written/oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability.
- Must be, or be willing to become, CPR/First Aid Certified, WACYCP Youth Professionals Certification, Love & Logic Training.
- Basic knowledge of Trauma Informed Care and working with youth with Adverse Childhood Experiences (A.C.E.s) – Familiarity with transportation logistics and regulations, particularly in the context of youth transportation services.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including staff, volunteers, parents, and community partners.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the capacity to inspire and motivate others toward common goals.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to perform responsibilities in a self-directed manner.
- Ability to function effectively in an environment requiring multi-tasking.
- Growing relationship with Christ and involvement in a local church.
- Evidence of spiritual maturity, including integrity, humility and self-discipline.
MENTAL/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Operates equipment necessary to perform the job.
- Stands, walks, and reaches above the shoulders as well as squats, bends, twists, kneels, and climbs throughout the shift.
- Must be able to lift, push, carry various items (bags, boxes, etc.):
- Lift up to 10 lbs. and frequently up to 20 lbs.
- Push/pull 20 lbs.
