Dear Friends and Supporters,
Following last week’s leadership announcement, the Board of Directors is pleased to share that Mike Williams has been appointed as the Interim Executive Director of City on a Hill, effective immediately.
Mike brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in the nonprofit and public sectors, as well as a long-standing personal commitment to our mission of transforming central city neighborhoods. He currently serves as our Family Engagement Manager and has been instrumental in developing our integrated youth and family programs under the “Whole-Family, Whole-Person Care” model championed by our former CEO. As someone who grew up in our neighborhood and overcame many of the same challenges faced by the families we serve, Mike offers a unique perspective and unwavering dedication to this work.
The Board has full confidence in Mike’s ability to guide the organization through this transition with clarity, compassion, and strategic focus. He will work closely with the Board of Directors and Senior Leadership Team to ensure operational continuity and programmatic excellence.
In the coming weeks, the Board and Mike will be assessing long-term leadership planning while continuing to deliver strong outcomes for our community. Our commitment to mission-driven work, impactful partnerships, and organizational sustainability remains firm.
We’re grateful for your continued investment in the mission and future of City on a Hill. Should you have any questions or wish to connect further, please reach out to me directly at [email protected] or 262-416-6952.
With appreciation,
Mitch Lueck
President of the Board, City on a Hill
