‘No act of kindness is too small’: 16th Annual Holiday Drive kicks off in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — The city of Milwaukee and Milwaukee County are in the spirit of giving back. They kicked off the 16th Annual Holiday Drive Monday, Nov. 27.

The city is asking individuals to donate warm clothing, toys, hygiene products and more.

Donations will be benefitting the children and families of the United Neighborhood Centers of Milwaukee, a group of organizations that help Milwaukee’s most underserved communities.

Milwaukee Brewers Foundation and the Racing Sausages made an appearance.

“Remember, no act of kindness is too small, and every donation, every single donation, regardless of the size of that donation, contributes to building a stronger and more compassionate community,” said Mayor Cavalier Johnson.

The drive is a collaboration with the city and City on the Hill. It will wrap up Dec. 18 — City on the Hill will accept donations and drop-off until then.
